The Creative Dance for Caregiver + Me class designed for children ages 2 months – 4 years and their caregivers. Classes will be held most Mondays (beginning January 9) from 10-11 AM at the C.E. Roy Community Center dance studio (300 E 5th St). We will also be offering a Saturday morning class on January 28, 2023 from 10-11 AM at the same location.
The class supports your child’s physical, cognitive, and social-emotional development in a playful environment. Dancing with your child and others, you will explore dance concepts through songs, nursery rhymes, stories, props, and games. The class also addresses the physical and emotional well-being of the grown-ups with gentle stretching and strengthening exercises, social interactions with other caregivers, and the opportunity to learn more about your child’s development at a variety of ages and stages.
What to Wear: Comfortable clothing that allows for freedom of movement, bare feet.
Classes are free! Registration is not required, but checking in as “Going” on the Facebook event page does help.
