Back Roads & Back Stories returns to Midtown Green on Thursday, June 18, from 5 to 7:30 PM.

Join us for an evening of songs, stories, and conversation with Thomas Jackson, Ryann & Jesse McGee of Grits & Greens, and Drew Young.

Inspired by the songwriter rounds made famous in places like Nashville’s Bluebird Cafe, Back Roads & Back Stories brings songwriters together to share not only the music, but the stories behind it. It’s a chance to hear how songs are written, where they come from, and the experiences that shape them.

We’re grateful to partner with the Midtown Merchants Association to continue creating opportunities for live music and community gathering right here in Hattiesburg.

Bring a lawn chair, grab a bite from one of the food trucks, enjoy concessions on site, and settle in for an evening of live music under the trees at Midtown Green.

Admission is free and everyone is welcome.
