Get Berry Curious at Science Saturday at Smith!

Calling all young scientists in grades 3–5! Join the Sixth Street Museum District on Saturday, September 12, at 11 a.m. for Berry Curious: Discovering the DNA in a Strawberry.

Kids will extract real DNA from a strawberry, discover how DNA is used in medicine and research, and explore exciting STEM careers, all through a fun, hands-on experiment!

Led by guest scientist Constance B. Shaw, biologist and public health scientist, this is one STEM experience your young scientist won’t want to miss!
