The Hattiesburg Jaycees are excited to return in person for their 72nd annual Christmas Parade, Thursday, December 1, 2022, at 6 PM.
The parade route will begin at Sacred Heart High School and run through Downtown Hattiesburg ending at Town Square Park for the City of Hattiesburg tree lighting.
The tree lighting ceremony’s theme for 2022 is “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” and will include live musical performances followed by a countdown to turn on all the holiday lights in Town Square Park, including the city’s tree. There will also be photo opportunities with Santa and Mrs.Claus in Santa’s Village and several food and beverage vendors. To conclude the evening, several Downtown businesses will be open for business.
