Downtown businesses will host their own unique events during each First Saturday. There’s always something new to discover during First Saturday from block parties, outdoor markets to gallery openings.

October’s First Saturday will include:

    • Lucky Rabbit – Outdoor Street Market – 9am-6pm
    • The Author Shoppe – Joseph Townsend Book Signing from 11:30am-1:30pm – Open 10am-8pm
    • Blooms Company – 10% off store-wide, morning mimosas, Flower Happy Hour – 10am-4pm
    • fivetwentyfive – Labor Day Sale – All sale items 25% to 80% off – Open 10am-6pm
    • The Porter – Open 9am-11pm
    • Southern Prohibition – Open 11am-10pm
    • Fairley’s Wings & More – Happy Hour 4-7pm – Open 11am-10pm
    • Pocket Museum & Theater – New Exhibit
    • Oddfellows Gallery- Antiques & Collectables Sales Event – Gallery Open – 11am-5pm
    • Hattiesburgers & Blues – Live music from Ken Baker at 11am – Open 11am-11pm
    • Nellie’s – $5 Traditional 16 oz. Daiquiris/ $6 Premium 16 oz. Daiquiris – 11am to close
    • Smith Drug Company – Open for guests to tour the newly renovated historic building. T-shirts, malts, and milkshakes will be available for purchase – 12-4pm
    • Sage Den – Pop up concert with Matt Cockrell (2-3pm) – Open at 12pm
    • Alley Cats Axe Throwing – Open 12pm with 20% off until 6pm
    • Blu Jazz Cafe – Open 10am-10pm
    • Grill & Grocery – Live music – Open 8pm until
