Andrea Kostyal’s Photo Transfer Workshop

This workshop suits beginners as well as professional artists.

June 10th, 4 p.m.-7 p.m.

Supplies will be provided

12”x12” x 3/4 primed canvases
At least 10 different colored acrylics
Matte Medium gel
brushes
old membership cards/gift cards to press out glue
paper towels
sanding paper
paper plates for paint
cups for water
high contrast or black and white prints on copy paper
scissors
Bring, but not required to

You can bring your own favorite paintbrushes, acrylic paint colors, and other acrylic painting supplies if you prefer.
You can also bring hairdryers – it makes the drying time faster for the acrylic underpainting.
Photos

I will have a selection of photos, but if you have personal photographs that you want to use, print them on an inkjet printer on regular copy paper or send a high-quality image to me at andrea.kostyal@gmail.com subject workshop. It can be in black and white or color, but higher contrast is better. If you use words, make sure you flip the image, horizontally. You can bring more than one photo to use on the same canvas.
